1. Create a Gentle Solution: Use a mixture of a small drop of mild dish soap and lukewarm water in a bowl. Avoid hot water, which can damage certain stones.
3. Soak and Brush: Soak the earrings for 15-20 minutes, then after, gently brush them with a soft toothbrush. Avoid any harsh or vigorous scrubbing.
4. Rinse and Dry: Rinse under cool water and follow by drying the earrings with a soft microfibre cloth. Ensure all moisture is removed, as lingering water can damage some gemstones.

Pearls are extremely delicate and require special care to maintain their lustrous surface. Never submerge pearl earrings in hot water or place them within an ultrasonic cleaner to avoid damaging them! Instead, here’s how to clean your pearl earrings:

1. After each wear, use a soft microfibre cloth to gently polish the pearl earrings. This will help remove any natural oils from your skin and remove any dust or dirt from the pearls. 
2. When looking dull, wipe with a damp cloth: Use a soft cloth with a drop of clear mild soap to gently wipe the pearls. Don’t make them too wet as pearls are porous and can absorb water and colour. 
3. Dry thoroughly: Lay the pearls flat to air dry completely before storing them away to preserve and maintain their lustre and not to damage the surface.
